SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -
IronStone Bank will open its second Arizona office on Monday, July 14,
at 7000 E. Shea Blvd., Suite 1001, in Scottsdale.
“This new office, located on one of the city’s
most prominent business corridors, will allow us to expand our operations
and better serve the people and businesses of Scottsdale,” said
IronStone Bank President Jay Parker. “With our exceptional brand
of personal service, we’re particularly well suited to meet the
financial needs of small to mid-sized businesses, professionals and
the medical community.”
Susan Wells, who has 25 years of financial services
experience, will manage the office. Mark Casada is a business/commercial
lender based at the new branch.
The lobby and two drive-through lanes will be open
Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The office features a walk-up ATM and a night depository.
The Shea Boulevard office is the second of three
IronStone locations currently planned for the greater Scottsdale community.
The bank opened an office in February 2003 at 7001 N. Scottsdale Road
in the Scottsdale Seville Shopping Center. The bank is also constructing
a new building at Northsight Boulevard and Raintree Drive near the Scottsdale
Municipal Airport. The office is expected to open in the third quarter
of 2004.
IronStone Bank also has three offices in Austin,
Texas, and two in San Diego County, Calif. Other IronStone Bank offices
are planned for Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, Rancho Santa Margarita,
Sacramento and Solana Beach in California.
IronStone Bank delivers exceptional service and comprehensive
personal and business banking products. Consumers can get Free Checking
accounts with overdraft protection and will not be charged IronStone
Bank fees for using other banks’ ATMs. Businesses can choose IronStone
Bank’s Business Quest checking account with an Investment Sweep
and a no-fee business credit card.
IronStone Bank associates are dedicated to building
long-lasting relationships with families, small to mid-sized businesses,
professionals and the medical community. The bank is a division of Atlantic
States Bank, a federally-chartered thrift institution with 39 offices
in Georgia and Florida. Late in 2003, all Atlantic States offices will
change to the IronStone Bank name. Atlantic States is a subsidiary of
Raleigh, N.C.-based First Citizens BancShares Inc. (Nasdaq: FCNCA),
one of the 100 largest financial holding companies in the United States
with $12.39 billion in assets.
