Coming soon to Personal Online Banking

Enhanced sign-on security for online banking  Arrow Learn More
IronStone Bank is committed to providing comprehensive online banking with state-of-the-art security. We’ll soon debut a new sign-on procedure. In addition to a personal ID and password, you’ll be asked to choose a picture from our catalog of images and come up with an accompanying special phrase. When you see your image and phrase on the screen, you’ll know that you’re on the ironstonebank.com Online Banking site. You’ll also have the option of “registering” your computer with us as an added security measure.
Although we have in place some of the top Internet security technology in the industry, our new sign-on procedure is one more way IronStone Bank is working to maintain the privacy of your personal financial information. Our Online Security Statement explains more.
We have online tips to help you with your password and ID, e-mail security and virus and spyware protection. There’s also a Web page that explains how to avoid an Internet scam called “Phishing.” Phishing is an attempt to lure you into giving personal data over the Internet and gain access to your financial information.
Remember that IronStone Bank will never ask you to send confidential or private information (social security numbers, account numbers, passwords, validation questions, personal identification numbers) over the Internet or via e-mail. Call our Customer Contact Center (1.866.IB DIRECT / 1.888.423.4732) if you ever have any questions about the authenticity of a request.
We also have some tips so you can act quickly if you believe you’ve been subject to identity theft.

E.statement e-mail alert and paper reduction
Soon we’ll launch a new feature for Online Banking customers — an e-mail alert that tells you when your e.statements are available to review through ironstonebank.com. E.statements are exact replicas of monthly account statements in a PDF image format.
E-mail notification provides faster access to statement information and reduces paper handling.
When you enroll for an e-mail alert, you’ll have three options:
  • You can choose e.statements for all of your Online Banking accounts.
  • You can discontinue delivery of all your paper statements.
  • Or you can receive a combination of e.statements for some accounts and paper statements for others.
If you find that you prefer to get your account information through the mail, you can easily convert back to paper.
Many Online Banking customers have already discovered the benefits of e.statements. They give you the flexibility and convenience of viewing your checking, savings, money market and EquityLine account statements and disclosures electronically. They provide online access to images of your processed checks. The information is posted on our secure Web site, available through Online Banking and protected the same as all online transactions.
There’s no fee for paperless e.statements or the upcoming e-mail notification option. To take advantage of these features, you’ll need to be an Online Banking customer or sign up for the service.
Many Online Banking customers have already discovered the benefits of e.statements. Stay tuned for more on these ironstonebank.com enhancements.
